The Simple Woman's Daybook

Outside My Window... It is a beautiful day! It was very nippy this morning, but it has been gradually warming up. So thankful that it is not been so brutally hot as it was this summer.

I am thinking... of oh so many things!! Christmas, family, friends!
 
I am thankful for ... answered prayers!! Just within the last few days I have seen God work out some difficult situations. 

I am wearing.. I am quite comfortable today in my fleecy pants with moon and stars on the them, navy blue button up shirt and fuzzy socks! Ha! 

From the kitchen.. School books all over the table. Potato soup for supper!!

From the Learning Room… Math, Bible, & English!!

I am creating... Christmas is about to explode all over the house!! This is the first day of December! Time to get the house all gussied up for the holidays!!

I am reading... I have been reading 1 John in the Bible. I have been a part of a wonderful 12 week study with my Java Girls!!

I am remembering....  Childhood memories, especially Christmas memories.

I am hoping... for so many things!! Right now getting this Christmas to-do list all DONE!

I am hearing... Christmas music playing low, and the crackling of the wood in the woodburnng stove. It is still going even though it is warming up outside.

I have noticed..  ACORNS everywhere!! Wonder if that means it will be a cold winter??? The oak tree has never had so many that I can remember. Hmmmm.... 

Favorite Thing... At this moment.. CHRISTMAS MUSIC!! It is what I call happy music. It gives praise, joy, love, and laughter!

A few plans for the rest of the week....  As of today there are at least 3 birthdays  on the same day that we are going to try to attend!! yikes!! Christmas shopping! Christmas decorating!!
