The Simple Woman's Daybook

Outside my window... It is quite early. The light of a new day hasn't quite awaken yet.

I am thinking... What in the world am I doing up so early!-Ha!

I am thankful... For the little things, like a hot cup of coffee on a chilly morning.

In the kitchen... Coffee and toast!

I am wearing... P.J.s and a hoodie jacket because I could not get warm enough.

I am creating... Well, in the next few months I will be working on another wedding. So lots of creativity going on there!!

I am going... to just BE!! Be who the good Lord wants me to be.

I am wondering... and praying about my Father. He is having surgery today. It is only day surgery, and all should be well. Praying for a quick recovery.

I am reading... My Bible. Started a new Bible study in Ephesians.

I am hoping... that this New Year would be one of many blessings!

I am looking forward to... seeing many GOOD changes around my home!

I am learning... To not worry as much about things. God is in control!

Around the house... Still quiet. I love it like this when I can get a little time to do this, or read and pray.

I am pondering... so many things at this moment. I dare not make such an unending list on here!

A favorite quote for today...

One of my favorite things... bird's nests. My youngster can spot them in an instant. He told me recently while we had been on a walk and had found one. He said, "This right here proves there is a God." He was talking about how delicately made the bird's nest was.

A few plans for the rest of the week: Many things to do around the home. Maybe a trip to town on Saturday.
